PUG Strip Stack with Aluminium base. This was another item I’ve been asked to make a few times and have finally finished two versions I’m super happy with!
The aluminium version has 5 recycled bronze strips (cut from old cymbals) mounted aluminium square tube with two vent holes under the strips to help with projection. This version has steel washers which are used in mounting the bolts and strips and an adjustment screw either side so you can control the attack and length of the sound.
Both the aluminium and wood base versions include a M8 mounting nut on the underside which will screw into any modern cymbal stand.
